The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode. Visit the Morenci town website (  to learn more. **What You Will Do** + Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies. + Consider cost impact for recommended action plans for correcting downtime issues on installed equipment. + Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures. + Reports on Key Performance Indices. + Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and prepare reports. + Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and make recommendations for improvement. + Perform other duties as required. **What You Bring To Freeport** + Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience required. + Working knowledge of MSOffice suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project + Knowledge and understanding of good engineering practices and principles. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Self-starter with solid integrity. + Understand the importance of safety, legality and quality. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or any other Engineering discipline + Completion of Reliability Engineering courses + SMRP or CMRP Certification + Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing & Project Mangement Experience or Certification + AutoCAD experience + Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP + Basic understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical Systems + Knowledge in Work Order Planning & Scheduling + Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance (e.g., MSHA, OSHA) + Expertise in data analysis, including data trending and statistical analysis + Knowledge on how to conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to create and interpret technical documentation and reports + Ability to prioritize assets based on criticality and impact on production, safety, and cost + Knowledge on condition-based monitoring (CBM) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) + Business acumen with strong budgeting and cost control skills **What We Offer You** The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  **$78,500-$107,000** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
